A Montessori prepared environment allows children to act freely on their own initiative meeting their needs through individual spontaneous acts. Our prepared environment therefore acts as the Third Teacher.

Or "Casa Dei Bambini" This specially prepared environment is suitable for children aged 2.5 or 3 years up until the age of 5 years old.

Our Montessori Infant & Toddler program offers a curriculum that emerges from each child’s unique skills and interests.

Montessori environment interlinked with EYFS

We offer the benefits of a Montessori environment interlinked with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). We operate from a fully airconditioned purpose-built building in Mill Hill with its own playground. Based in the London Borough of Barnet. The classrooms have been equipped with a full range of Montessori materials to provide a rich learning environment for your child.

Our daughter has been attending the Montessori since 2020. We visited lots of nurseries before deciding on Step by Step and could not be happier with our decision. All the staff are so caring and lovely and create a really calm, nurturing environment every day for all the children.

Step by Step Montessori has surpassed our expectations. The team are amazing, caring and fun. Our little boy would run in every morning he went and would come home with a big smile on his face. The manager and her team were accommodating and flexible, always happy to go above and beyond for every child. They always kept us updated with progress our kid was making.

Before sending our daughter to this Nursery we viewed several nurseries that we did not think were suitable for our daughter who was 2 and a half years old at that time. My husband and I lost hope in finding somewhere that we thought would be suitable for our little girl until we came across this little gem called step by step Montessori.

We currently have a 1 year waiting list, therefore we recommend a visit as soon as possible. We can facilitate appointments daily at 3:15pm.

And it’s beyond words, to express my feelings and gratitude, to that place! The warmth, love and support, you receive, from the staff, is felt form day one! (For me as a parent and for my child). There is everything every parent and child can dream for 🥰 Sabeen is such a caring person who looks after everyone amazingly! Highly recommend!
